The rest of the site will show you my style and approach to wedding photography. This section is all about me (and maybe a little about my work). I believe the relationship between you and I is very important. I want you to feel comfortable enough to allow me into your world. This is your big day, enjoy it, while I capture your story as it happens. First, however, you may want to know more about me.
I remember flicking through my parents wedding album, and seeing my aunts and uncles, looking younger with those eighties hairstyles, and seeing my older cousins, while they were still toddlers misbehaving. Memories, which can be relived time and time again.
The approach I take to wedding photography, is to capture the essence and story of the day. I love the emotion, the laughter, the tears and of course the excitement. The result I strive for is an undisturbed, natural documentation, which holds true the statement “a picture is worth a 1000 words” For me a wedding is not a choreographed photoshoot, where you constantly pose for a photo. Its a joyous occasion for the happy couple and their friends and family. As well as covering the ceremony, my job is to document the relationship and interactions between the couple and their family and friends. This undisturbed and uninterrupted documentation, gives allowance to natural ‘moments’ unfolding, which would not be possible if the photos were constantly staged.
